Pelosis Gift to Insurance Companies: Immunity from Lawsuits

Buried in the thousands of pages of the health care bills drafted by Democrats in the House and Senate is a provision to protect insurance companies from legal accountability for benefit decisions that cause injury or death to patients, Republicans warned on Wednesday.

Rep John Shadegg (R-AZ) pointed to page 140 of H.R. 3962 and page 56 of S. 1796, which include language providing immunity for insurance companies, even if the actions they take result in injury or death.

You can retrieve the bill from the Library of Congress website. Just do a search for H.R. 3962

Or you can download the PDF file from my web site @ gregtaylor.net

Whenever you put corporate money within the reach of a politician, the politician will do what comes natural, take the money with NO regard for the human factor, if you truly believe that a politician or the government is there to help you, I really feel sad for you because you are living in a dream world all by yourself.

Insurance companies will spend whatever it takes to maintain control over health costs, they are in bed with the drug companies which could come up with cures for most everything that ails the human race, but why do that, there is no money to be made by keeping people healthy, money and greed is at the root of the problems and until we can do away with them, we the people will remain poor and sick, just like the elite want us to be.
