Recently I announced the upcoming national live webcast conference for elected officials and staff, hosted by American Congress for Truth, ACT! for America’s “sister” organization dedicated to education and research on the threat of radical Islam.
There are many reasons why elected officials need to view this webcast, but here’s just one. Check out this map of the terrorist network in America.

This webcast conference is an excellent opportunity for you to reach out to elected officials and their staffs in your community and get them introduced to this threat that most Americans do not yet understand. Encourage them to put this on their calendar and view the conference!
The webcast conference will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time, with an hour break for lunch.
This conference is FREE of charge and open to all local, state and federal elected officials and their staffs.
It is also open, free of charge, to members of American Congress for Truth and ACT! for America.

We in American Congress for Truth, the education and research organization I founded in 2002, have been working for months to launch this very important conference. Providing a conference on this scale, via FREE webcast, is a powerful tool that, to our knowledge, no other organization concerned with the threat of radical Islam has utilized.

Elected officials and their staffs, at all levels of government, need to understand the relationship between the supremacist political ideology embedded within Islam and the advance of jihad.
They also need to understand the many ways in which jihad is being carried out against the United States, from violent jihad to “stealth” jihad to the advance of creeping shariah Islamic law into our society.
School board members need to understand how Islamists are distorting the history and doctrines of Islam in public school textbooks.
City Council and County Commission members need to understand how Islamists are suing local jurisdictions to demand excessive rights (such as the Muslim policewoman in Philadelphia who sued for the right to wear her hijab as part of her uniform).
State legislators, statewide elected officials, and federal officials need to understand how Islamists are pressing for the institution of shariah courts here in America – where aspects of shariah Islamic law, which are incompatible with American civil rights constitutional guarantees and statutes – will be implemented.

Get real. "Islamofascists" aren't stealing half of everything I earn, imprisoning millions of peaceful people or destroying entire nations. Only uncle sam can do that.
The real enemies are in Washington DC. Stay focused.

Sorry, I guess I link this concern in my mind to national sovereignty, state and local governments' sovereignty, heritage of God given liberties, and the concept of a free people, so it all blurs together.
You're right, this topic would not be of any remote consequence at all IF elected and appointed officials obeyed our U.S. and states' Constitutions and stopped trampling our rights.
