Regarding the 14th... here is a pretty good video. This is only the 1st one of a series http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40_4ujNBQ5I I don't agree with all he says on some of the issues and the way he presents them...in the end, it seems what he is really trying to say is that we would be able to claim our states rights and create our own laws within our own states w/o big gov. influence. In my opinion, people's personal beliefs should be not be laws to impose on others, but aside from that difference in opinion, I think it is a good speech. Basically, don't give up on him if he says something about his opinion that may upset you.

This Continental Congress is effectively "The Third Continental Congress" and follows the legal precedent of its predecessors. First we petitioned. Our petitions were ignored. Now we are presenting (hopefully this very evening) the Articles of Freedom to the American people for consideration and signature. If they go ignored by the servant government, the people have the right to impose economic sanctions as envisioned by Madison, Jefferson, and some other people you have probably heard of. Together, we cannot be subjected to the persecution that we would undoubtedly suffer on our own. I would not advise anyone to, well, you know... without the standing that these documents will secure for us and the cooperation of millions. Together, we can starve the beast, bring it to its knees, and drop its ear so that we may finally speak into it without interruption.

Hi all why don't we all refuse to file 1040s since it is illegal any way,and how are we doing?nation wide? Hello, GRD...

I don't have anything more specific than what you could find on the web. The 14th committee itself had its initial report offered to the Congress and it is officially postponed (not defeated). It will be standing business at the next meeting of the Continental Congress, whenever that may be. Like all the reconstruction amendments, it was ratified with the artificial support of the Southern States at virtual gunpoint, so its Constitutionality is instantly in doubt. As I understand it, there are additional issues with its specific passage and its application has been deplorable. Nonetheless, there was some, shall we say, procedural issues with the 14th Committee during our session in St. Charles so I will learn more when I can from more "patient" sources.

Hi Ron, I'm new here, still trying to sort everything out info wise. Can you point me to info concerning the 14th amendment? It is my understanding that the 14th amendment was never ratified. What was determined by the CC2009 regarding it?
